Dr. Mathew Knowles, father of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles and former manager of Destiny’s Child, recently sold his company World Entertainment Group to investment fund APX Capital Group.
While this deal is going to lead to many exciting new ventures for Dr. Knowles, the first project that is set to come out of this deal is The Mathew Knowles Story. This will directly follow the story of how he helped his daughters become the superstars that they are today and how he managed both Destiny’s Child and the solo careers of Beyoncé and Solange along with the careers of Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.
As a part of the deal with APX Capital Group, the group will now own 10,000 hours of footage showing the history of the Knowles family in the music industry through images, videos and music that have never been seen before.

Dr. Knowles also plans to produce a variety of diverse content including feature films, scripted series, and documentaries.
