ToyBox have updated Buzz Zone, available to desktop and iOS users.

Desktop – $24.00, increasing to $39.00 after the promotion.

What’s new in version 1.0.2:

Added sustain pedal (CC64) support

Buzz zone is a boutique ‘performance-oriented’ polyphonic synth with a rich set of features, cutting edge DSP and a streamlined modern interface, a hybrid of warm analog modelling and state of the art digital processing with a focused feature set for endless inspiration and experimentation.

The synthesiser features two powerful engines that can be layered together for a variety of complex sounds and textures. The ‘Synth’ engine features a great sounding ‘wavetable’ oscillator with a unison function for buzzy, harmonically rich timbres, hence the name! The ‘Sample’ engine can be used to layer additional textures or transients over the sound.

9 Powerful multi segment envelopes, one for each of the 9 main controls, with an intuitive ‘auto curve’ function
Streamlined yet versatile interface with all controls on a single screen
Deep analog modelling based on the cream of Eurorack modules and legendary vintage synths
State of the art DSP, with the latest ADAA anti aliasing techniques for rich analog sounds without digital artefacts, even when pushed into extreme territories.
Creative routing, unusual filters plus FM, AM, ring modulation and wave folding to creating harmonically rich analog timbres ideal for modern sound design
Extensive library of meticulously crafted wavetables
Vocoder mode allows you to imprint tonal characteristics of the loaded samples on to the output of the Synth engine
