If you’re a musician or performer with a passion for spatial audio, this is your chance to be part of something truly special. The Polygon Live Launch Pad competition gives you the opportunity to perform at Polygon LIVE’s ground-breaking spatial audio festival in Crystal Palace this May. If you’re eager to showcase your talents in an immersive sound experience, now’s your chance! At pointblank, our Music Production and Sound Engineering degree will allow you to master everything from foundational music production to advanced spatial audio techniques. With practical, hands-on learning, we ensure you’re prepared to excel in the dynamic world of music technology.

What’s the Competition About?

The Polygon Live Launch Pad is an emerging artist contest that will give one lucky winner the opportunity to perform a 30-minute opening set at Polygon Live LDN on Friday, 2 May. Powered by cutting-edge L-Acoustics L-ISA technology, this event is not only Polygon’s UK debut but also the largest outdoor spatial audio festival the UK has ever seen.

The prizes are exceptional – the three finalists will receive:

  • An invitation to attend a workshop at L-Acoustics L-ISA studio in London
  • Two VIP weekend tickets to Polygon Live LDN
  • A feature on OpenLab Radio
  • An invitation to participate in FutureSound’s artist development programme with studio access and mentoring
  • Exclusive merchandise

And the winner will additionally receive:

  • A 30-minute opening set at Polygon Live LDN
  • A £500 performance fee
  • Artist guest list privileges
  • A choice of a weekend production or DJ course at pointblank London
  • An invitation to perform at the next The Future is Sound show in autumn

How to Enter

To enter this free competition, you must:

  • Currently live in the UK
  • Submit your bio
  • Provide a short paragraph about your proposed performance and why you’re interested in performing in spatial audio
  • Include a link to one original track that is publicly available
  • Include a link to a live performance video that is publicly available
  • Optionally include a link to an original binaural track

Important dates:

  • 12 March: Deadline for all submissions
  • 28 March: Winner Announced
