Sophia Hadef

Course: Music Production and Sound Engineering Diploma

Socials: Instagram / Spotify Podcast

Sophia took a course at pointblank that reshaped her perspective on music and its impact. While she did not pursue a music career, the business-focused aspects of the course provided invaluable insights that later proved essential in her transition into the tech industry and, eventually, procurement. That same foundation later inspired her to study journalism and launch a radio show, merging her love for music with a passion for literature. Hosting The Cure led to a significant achievement—winning the Radio DJ Award at the Smedia Awards—an accomplishment in which she believed “her time at pointblank played a huge role in that success”. Now working in business and hosting a literary podcast that occasionally explores music topics, Sophia continues to apply the knowledge she gained at pointblank to both her creative and professional endeavours. The skills and insights acquired during her time in London remain a defining thread, connecting different aspects of her evolving career.
